Many stores use two variations on their domain; the naked domain, e.g. ‘example.com’, and the www subdomain, e.g. ‘www.example.com’. One of these will be your ‘primary’ Shopify domain, and the other, including any additional domains, will be secondary. Shopify automatically redirects all secondary domains to the primary domain. If you have SSL enabled on your storefront, then any request for the ‘http://’ URL is also redirected to ‘https://’. This means that even with multiple domains, all requests will resolve to the same base URL, and this is the URL that Redirectify uses to retrieve crawl errors from Google Search Console.
